We visited the DFW area for some family fun away from home within driving distance and stayed at the Westin Southlake during our stay. We really enjoyed this hotel! The room was very clean and looked great, the staff was very friendly, the pool is nice and well maintained. There is also an outdoor sitting area with fire pits. We ate breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel, Jellisco. Our waiter Rish was wonderful and took great care of us traveling with our daughter. All of the staff was attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.|The only thing that wasn’t ideal was the AC in our suite. It blew cold air in the bedroom but not in the other room with the sofa bed where our daughter was sleeping. It wasn’t a big problem but might be during hot Texas summers.

I only stayed at the Westin Southlake one night as I had to attend a work conference the next day elsewhere. However, I was extremely impressed and would not hesitate to stay again or recommend. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were excellent. I also found the room to be very spacious and extremely quiet. I really appreciated that the reception team acknowledged my Gold Elite status (on check in and check out) and upgraded my room to a higher floor room.||The hotel was relatively close to Dallas Fort Worth Airport and across the highway there are some restaurants. I believe the hotel has a complimentary shuttle bus but I didn't use it.

I traveled alone from the UK for medical reasons and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay.

The location and property are beautiful, but what truly makes this place magical is its people.

Patricia gave me the confidence I needed, offering an incredible long-stay rate and a comfortable junior suite for my 10-day visit.

Doug went above and beyond to help me finalize arrangements before my surgery, tirelessly searching for items I needed.

Marwan is a true asset to the hotel—the exceptional service reflects how well he takes care of his team.

Billy checked in on me daily, ensuring I had everything I needed. Meeting him was one of the absolute highlights of my stay.

A huge thank you to the housekeeping, room service, and night team for their kindness (and for keeping up with my endless supply of water bottles and room service requests!).

We stayed here for 4 days and it was excellent. The first floor was beautiful; to the right after entering is the bar, restaurant and a Starbucks. Straight outside is a patio with many couches surrounding fire pits. The hotel is so beautiful, you won't want to leave. It has blue lights surrounding the building, so, you can't get lost at night. Def stay here!

I'm not generally impressed with hotels, and I rarely give five-star ratings to anything. But it's the friendliness of the staff that pushed this to five stars for me.
It's Christmas Eve day and I walked to the lobby to get a cup of coffee while my room was being cleaned. An absolutely gorgeous young woman, the hostess at the restaurant I believe, (I never think to ask people's names), anyway, the coffee shop was closed but she got me a cup of coffee to go from the restaurant. The coffee itself was meh. It was just her friendliness, her cheerfulness, her attitude, and her charm. THAT was the big deal. When you have people like her forward-facing, customers like me will forgive a multitude of minor sins and failings (not that I've encountered any sin's or failings during my current visit.)
And she was not an anomaly. Everybody I spoke with, every staff member I interacted with, was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. On previous visits I've stayed at the VIN. The VIN was lovely. But this hotel is in my opinion, its equal. I actually like my room a little bit better. And the access by car here is a little bit easier.
