I can not speak highly enough about the impeccable work Jason and his team carried out for our condo in Miami from beginning to end. Our primary residence is in Rochester, NY so I knew most of the work would have to be done remotely, but covid reinforced that for us. Jason was able to accommodate every aspect navigating through remote work. I really appreciated how he described the process up front, captures inspiration, budget, offers options that align to our inspiration and his skilled precision to make it all work in a tiny space (with some architectural challenges). It's rare to find someone so well versed and exceptional in their trade but also to execute the project with his business savvy. When it came to the install, I described Jason as a work horse, he strived for perfection and would not settle for less. I emphatically trusted him and all of his guidance. I strongly recommend using Jason and I personally can't wait to use him again on other projects. Jason Longo was the interior design consultant for our upscale custom home. We could never have built our home without Jason. Jason was not only very creative but his background in construction allowed him to work seamlessly with the builder and the architect. This is an under-appreciated skill, but it is necessary if one wants a beautiful home without incurring extra costs. Jason worked tirelessly and he was always communicating with us. We felt Jason was part of our family. Any time we had questions about anything related to the house we always said: “call Jason”. Jason was always sensitive to our budget. He understood that even though the home cost several million to build, he understood we had a budget and to the extent possible we wanted to stay on budget. Nevertheless, he always indicated when it made sense to go over budget and when it did not. I cannot tell you how important this is when building a home. Our new home was the second time we built a house. Our new home was a very complicated build, and thousands of decisions had to be made. Jason was with us at every step. We have worked with interior design consultants and Jason Longo is the best there is. All we can say is “thank you Jason”.

I would give Jason 10 stars if I could! I had my house mostly remodeled but I was stuck on how to configure my kitchen, laundry, bath, and garage entry, it totaled about 500 square feet. I spent hours on the layout and was never happy, then I hired and Architect and again it just didn't seem right, so I hired a second Architect, still not there. My GF took a trip to Rochester New York to see her family and she just loved the new remodel on her cousins house. Ironically the designer had moved to Arizona and she set up a meeting with him (Jason). I liked Jason from the beginning but I had also like the Architects I had work on my project so I didn't even look at his proposal when he emailed it to me the next day. I actually told him I was not interested and put the whole thing out of my mind until three weeks later when I was cleaning up my email I opened his proposal just to see it before I deleted it. I was impressed with how quickly he got back to me (although I didn't open his email) and even more impressed with his proposal so I agreed to give it one last shot. When I contacted him to hire him he said he would have two or three layouts for the 500 square feet in a week. Six days later he came over with two layouts, It took me two minutes to look them over and pick the second. When I look back at what he did it seems so obvious but it wasn't. I was stalled for over a year because I just didn't like what I was getting from myself and two other Architects. This guy is so detail oriented its not even funny, he worked with my contractor and cabinet guy and counter guy. He was Johnny on the spot to answer questions for them. We picked all the materials out with him explaining why this or that would work or not work. Its funny that I gave him cart blanch to design my bathroom in this space, he did run some things by me but I tried to have as little impact on the bathroom as possible. My daughter told me the bathroom he designed was her favorite in the house, she had no idea It was Jason who put it together. My cabinet guy, who was great said my laundry room is the nicest one he has ever worked on. Everyone that comes to my house loves my kitchen. I am buying a building for my office and he is on my design team from day one, he's also helping me with rugs, furniture, and Art. I never in a million years would have predicted how grateful I am to have his help!

Jason and his team have worked with me on two commercial hospitality projects and created a distinct look/feel and guest experience in each place. The second project required some very budget-conscious planning, and we decided early on that while his advice would drive the process that we'd try to handle most of the particulars ourselves — and he accommodated exceptionally well — but we learned quickly that the more his team did the better off we were. Hospitality needs a first-to-last-impression approach and a real focus on functionality and durability. When it came down to brass tacks of time and money invested into the project, the budget dollars that went to JLID worked hardest for us and ultimately save us a lot in the long-term, which is something we're glad we learned along the way. Highly recommend.
