Residential Buildings in Fene

When you are thinking of a residential building , why do you have to forego the possibility of bringing something more to the customer than a mere room to live in? Architecture does not force you, but can bring you the possibility to develop your daily activities in a different way if desired . We are dealing here with two interconnected parcels. We design two buildings on three different levels, using the connection to create a common and private inner square, a private space with which to identify, where children can play safely and the elderly can have a rest. The three levels of the square allow for separate applications in a natural way. The inside is only accessible from the three doors of the buildings. We introduce a different space in the homes, a hybrid one that can be an open porch or a gallery, bringing a dimension to the house that can not usually be enjoyed. To achieve this, a system with large windows without carpentry can be fully opened and closed, creating a feeling as if one was eating outside, outside but protected, inside but outside, being outside feeling the elements used, be within the sensing elements without suffering from them…
