Located on a plot with a very interesting shape, this social center has a special meaning to me, because it is located in the neighborhood where I have lived all my life. For legal reasons, it was not possible to make the building on that plot. However, as an alternative, a social space was created on a ground floor of the same neighborhood. How do you fit a building into a ground floor? It is obviously impossible. The chosen solution was to leave the ground floor with a large open interior space and two movable partitions that make it possible to subdivide the space in various ways. In this manner, the social space has great flexibility of use, easily adapting to any activities that the neighbors wish to carry out.
