Single-family house in Miño

Living in the countryside makes it possible to enjoy the space, nature and more freedom. A house must facilitate and enhance both the potential of the place where it stands as well as the wishes and activities of the people living in it. The plot has a very steep slope, has a narrowing shape and magnificent views of the Miño beach and surrounding area. The house is partially buried. Having a strong horizontal component , it gradually separates fromthe ground to open up to the light and make the most of the views. It is organized on three levels. A basement for installations, a garage and a playground for the children. On the ground floor we can find the bedrooms and a large open area towards the excellent views, where the kitchen and lounge space develop. The ground below deck is the entertainment area of the house with a sauna, a whirlpool, a lounge and a deck that plays the functions of viewpoint and solarium. The terraces and porches that can be found around the perimeter, give consistency to the house and make it possible to relate it with the land and the environment.
